Sacred Heart Hospital Jalandhar is established on 16th May 1985 with 50 beds with the generous help of Misereor Aachen Germany. It had four departments namely Medicine, Surgery, OB& Gyne and Paediatrics. It is run by the Sisters of Jeeva Jyoti Province Delhi, of the Sacred Heart Congregation which was started in Kerala in 1911 by the venerable Fr.Mathew Kadalikattil. The Hospital is started with a unique Mission, to give preventive and curative holistic health care services which are effective, efficient, affordable and accessible.

Our motto is "Love, Serve and Save"

From its humble beginning in 1985, it has grown steadily in the past twenty-nine years to an NABH accredited multi-specialty hospital with 170 beds. Sacred Heart Hospital has also a school of nursing with 40 students per year. However, we have never lost sight of our original mission. It is our desire to serve patients promptly, with consideration and dignity. We believe that an affordable healthcare is a basic right of everyone. We always place special emphasis on the patient behind the disease. Guided by a spiritual mission, we believe that a patient-centric approach is as important as the diagnostic & therapeutic intervention.
