Sacred Heart Hospital Jalandhar is established on 16th May 1985 with 50 beds with the generous help of Misereor Aachen Germany. It had four departments namely Medicine, Surgery, OB& Gyne and Paediatrics. It is run by the Sisters of Jeeva Jyoti Province Delhi, of the Sacred Heart Congregation which was started in Kerala in 1911 by the venerable Fr.Mathew Kadalikattil. The Hospital is started with a unique Mission, to give preventive and curative holistic health care services which are effective, efficient, affordable and accessible.

INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU)
The I.C.U Department provides comprehensive medical management for individuals with critical illness or after major surgeries. These patients require advanced monitoring and care in the Intensive Care Unit setting.

The newly built Nephrology department at Sacred Heart Hospital is functioning under the supervision of a well experienced Nephrologist and is well equipped with 8 bicarbonate dialysis machines, 24 hours, 7 days a week with DOQI recommeded standard of dialysis. Nephrology department offers a wide range of comprehensive and high quality services to the patient with renal diseases through the in-patient and out-patient settings..
Cardiology in Sacred Heart Hospital looks after adults and children with many forms of heart problems. Patients who are critically ill, very sick, are admitted to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Cathlab inaugurated on 30 March, 2017 with latest equipment.
